Darla Deguire
Senior Consultant, Facilitation and Engagement
Darla Deguire, founder of Cedar + Sage Boutique Retreats, is a passionate entrepreneur and social change educator with more than twenty years of experience designing and facilitating custom workshops, professional training programs, and events. She was born and raised on the Canadian Prairies and is a proud Cree-Métis woman and a member of the Muskoday First Nation. A lifelong learner, Darla is currently studying in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Cape Breton University with an emphasis on community economic development.
Before founding her business, Darla worked for the Canadian Labour Congress(CLC) for 17 years. Her primary areas of responsibilities included overseeing a broad range of stakeholder management responsibilities, member education and engagement activities for the prairie region.
Darla is an active member of the Saskatoon business community, where she serves on the Boards of Directors for the United Way of Saskatoon and SaskTel Centre and several local business and women networks. Darla is an Alumni member to the General’s Canadian Leadership Conference, where her passion for leadership development continues today in both mentor and mentee capacities.
