Senior Consultant, Program Development

Michael Pirot was raised in Cochin, Saskatchewan between the Saulteaux and Moosimin First Nations.  The Pirot family had general stores near Indigenous communities throughout Saskatchewan.  So it was only natural, that after completing a university degree, Michael began his career serving First Nation communities.

He first worked for the department of corrections for the Province of Saskatchewan for seven years at the Drumming Hill Youth Centre where he was taught and participated in Cree and Dene cultural teachings.  During that same time, Michael taught at Saulteaux Heritage School for three years where he enhanced the kids perspective through encouraging their involvement in sport.  After getting married, he relocated to Saskatoon and soon started with CanSask Career and Employment Services where he worked with individual case files and managed contracts on behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan.  Eventually ending up in Lethbridge, AB, Michael worked with the Government of Alberta for two years tending solely to the First Nations portfolio for Southern Alberta training and employment contracts.

Michael Pirot is most proud of developing meaningful relationships with First Nation clients which include leadership and members.  Assisting Indigenous communities reach their goals is what Michael prides himself on. Morris Interactive is a talent rich company that is best suited to meet the expectations of our clients.
