Brett has 15 years of experience in economic and public policy research, data analysis, and report writing. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Saskatchewan, he held positions at Statistics Canada, Canadian Federation of Independent Business, Canada West Foundation, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

Brett has conducted research on a range of economic and public policy topics, and is adept at synthesizing information and communicating findings in writing.  As an economist he focused on the western provinces, giving him an in-depth understanding of local, provincial, and regional economic issues.

Brett has extensive experience with survey research methods, including questionnaire design, developing and conducting online surveys, and analyzing and reporting results. He also has experience using data visualization software to combine multiple large data sets and create interactive dashboards with insightful charts and graphs.
