Daniel has more than 26 years of experience in organizational development, marketing, stakeholder communication, and executive level management. He spent 14 years leading different sports and recreation organizations across Saskatchewan including more than 9 years as the Executive Director of Golf Saskatchewan. Following his time in sports administration, Daniel spent four years of consulting work where he and his partner Lester Cey extended value by assessing and building long lasting and trusted relationships while striving to provide win-win situations for their clients and customers. Daniel has been actively involved in strategic planning sessions, community health plans, and emergency management plans for Morris Interactive’s private and First Nations clients.
As the Director of Quality Control, he uses his keen eye for detail when performing the final review of all client facing project work with Morris Interactive. In addition, he deals with branding and quality control standards for the company, client fulfillment, and document management.
Daniel and his wife Jill are very involved with the sporting interests of their three active children and previously enjoyed family camping trips in the summer. His children are highly competitive athletes in baseball, hockey, and softball and Daniel volunteered as coach for their teams throughout their development years. Sports have been an instrumental part of his life, and he values the positive attributes of work ethic, goal setting, team tactics, adversity, and personal accountability in the other areas of his life. Daniel still keeps active with his own sport and fitness interests. Daniel is the Past-President of the Saskatoon Blue Jays Baseball Zone, Assistant Commissioner of the Saskatoon Wild Hockey Zone and previously was a board member with Baseball Saskatoon, the Battlefords North Stars Junior Hockey Club, and Kinsmen Club. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the University of Saskatchewan majoring in Sports Administration.
