Senior Instructor, Digital Transformation
The Senior Instructor, Digital Transformation is responsible for instructing the 8-week in-class portion of the program, conducting student interviews, and supporting students as required. The Senior Instructor will work closely with participants, community partners, and businesses to facilitate the Digital Transformation in Mining course.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated understanding and experience working with Indigenous communities
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching, learning, and student success
  • Understanding of the mining industry would be considered a strong asset
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline from an appropriately accredited institution would be considered an asset
  • Teacher training/certification
  • General knowledge and appreciation of Indigenous cultures
  • Three to five years experience teaching in a relevant subject area with adult learners
  • Three to five years experience preparing and delivering courses/lessons that incorporate a wide range of teaching strategies, addressing
  • the needs of adult learners
  • Demonstrated digital competencies (I.e., Microsoft Suite, Videogaming, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license
