Why attend this workshop?

This interactive two-day workshop gives managers and supervisors the confidence, practical knowledge, and ready-to-use HR tools to lead staff effectively and manage common workplace situations. Through practical exercises and inspired by the Campfire Principle, participants will explore leadership methods that build trust, support psychological safety and reflect culturally respectful workplace practices.

What is ‘The Campfire Principle’?

Long before boardrooms and organizational charts, people gathered around campfires to share knowledge, solve problems, strengthen relationships and support one another. Great leaders create that same experience in today’s workplaces.

Workshop Objectives

Participants will strengthen their skills in; communication, difficult conversations, conflict resolution, coaching, performance management, accountability, documentation and hiring. We will consider how workplace practices and policies can promote dignity, fairness, belonging, and psychological safety—and learn to recognize situations requiring specialized HR support.

Workshop Outcomes

Participants will leave better equipped to build trust, communicate clearly, have difficult conversations, address conflict, coach employees, and make sound hiring decisions—all while contributing to safer and culturally responsive workplaces.
