Human Resources
As our motto reads, Building Better People, Building Better Organizations, we at Morris Interactive believe that people are an organization’s greatest asset.
Our Human Resource training has the following focus:
- Create respectful work environments with diversity training and sexual harassment training.
- Select, develop and retain employees via interviewing training and leadership training.
- Improve employee motivation and productivity by choosing change management training and customer service training.
The following courses can be adapted to fit one or two-day workshops, keynotes or half-day seminars:
Anti-Harassment Training – You want to protect your employees and create a respectful work environment? But how do you prevent harassment from occurring? What sorts of policies should be in place? All of these questions (and more!) will be answered in this two-day workshop.
Hire Smart: Behavioural Interviewing – This workshop concentrates on the pre-interview preparation; developing questions and their value; the interview techniques that get specific, behavior-based examples of past performance; and the strategies that follow through on this process.
Conducting Effective Performance Reviews – Performance reviews are an essential component of employee development. Learn industry best practices that will improve your feedback and coaching skills.
Conflict Resolution Training – We argue with our spouses, disagree with our friends, and sometimes even quarrel with strangers at a hockey game. What is critical for resolving conflict is developing an understanding of, and a trust in, shared goals. These are the skills that you will develop in this workshop.
Employee Dispute Resolution – Have you ever been in a workplace situation where a supervisor has made a decision that you don’t agree with? Did you wish that you could ask someone else what they thought of the decision; whether they would have done the same thing? Learn these techniques and more.
Harmony in the Workplace – Interested in fostering productive internal workplace relationships? This workshop will strengthen any team and give them the insight to succeed!
Human Resources Training for the Non-HR Manager – You do not always have the expertise to deal with the many employee relationship issues you face, and yet you will be expected to make decisions that are both effective and legal. This workshop will give you the skills you need!
Managing Employee Performance – This course is for supervisors who wish to better understand themselves and others through completing and interpreting personality typing, to develop their problem solving and decision making skills, and to explore performance management issues.
